Just under the square appears what looks like a capital O with most of the right side missing. The front of the Trigger Guard on the right side has what appears to be a poorly struck (or worn) square with a capital A inside it. The front of the Trigger Guard on the left side has the capital letter K and next to it a triangle with the number 1 in the center I'm posting them separate as they may not show up in the pictures. UP-date on Markings: I picked up the pistol today and got a chance to go over it with a 60x magnification loupe. Hopefully someone can help with the year of mag. Will also post pictures once I can get some taken. I will do a more thorough inspection tomorrow and use my 90x magnification to see if I can detect any markings in the triangle. (I pick the pistol up tomorrow) and there are no Imperial or Nazi markings on the pistol. IMO it is obvious that the pistol has NOT been renumbered or forced matched as all numbers match from what I have seen from the pictures I have received. 8 years is quite a bit of difference in my guessed at dates. With the SN over 460000 and page 213 of Anthony's book showing that 460,000 was reached before German Occupation in May 1940, I am confused over the actual date of manufacture/acceptance.

F the date code is in a different location, please let me know where I should be looking. IF the K is the Belgian "Date Code" then the reference material I have says that the K is for 1932. The left Trigger Guard has a K and next to it a triangle - can't make out if there is any marking inside the triangle or not. The Barrel (ejection port area) is marked with the Lion/PV, Star/G and the Leige Proof House Crown Oval with E/LG/Star inside it. The proof marks on the left side of the Slide and Frame (just above the trigger guard) are the Lion/PV and a Star/G - no Perone. It looks like the 4th Legend shown in Anthony's 2nd Edition for 1930s to 1950s time frame (page 214). The pistol has the Sans-Serif Font, the DE is capitalized and it is the 2 line Legend.
